Considering Homeschooling Mini-Library
at Lamp Post Homeschool Store
In conjunction with WCHG, we have a mini-library
shelf with books for folks
to borrow to learn more about homeschooling.
There are also some freebies:
homeschool magazines, brochures
about homeschooling, etc.
We will also provide a free homeschool information
packet to new
homeschoolers who visit our store.
Included are: A Starting Point booklet ($2.95value),
Homeschoolers Grown Up-What
do the Facts Show ($1.25 value), a new Lamp Post
Homeschool Store Catalog with two coupons, and an
HSLDA brochure.
The Considering Homeschooling Ministry Outreach
Group (CHM) is a ministry
that helps Christian families with babies,
toddlers, preschoolers and those
with their children in traditional schools learn
all about Biblical home
schooling through monthly outreach meetings featuring
experienced homeschooling families that share
their methods, curriculums, and what a day is like
in their home.
Each chapter holds monthly educational outreaches
and also encourages and
promotes fellowship opportunities for the families
with pre-school age
children. "We have all seen and heard the constant
push by the government for preschool, so it is so
important that we provide support to these
families to help them make wise decisions
regarding their child's education. "CHMOG" helps
Christian parents considering homeschooling make
the decision to homeschool from a Christian
worldview without governmental control and then bridges
these families to the already established
Christian homeschool support groups."
